John began writing poetry as a high school honor student attending Xaverian High School, but always had the intention of pursuing science as his life’s work, which he hoped to begin when he won first place in a science competition for refuting Isaac Newton’s theory of gravity. He was inspired by the space race of the late 1950’s and 1960’s culminating with the first moon landing in 1969! He attended the New York Polytechnic Institute on a scholarship where he majored in mathematics and physics and taught matrix algebra. His goal became a career in astrophysics. However, as a young father, he also worked at George Buck Consulting Actuaries and eventually established his own insurance insurance consulting business in 1971. Today, John is the president and CEO of M3Technology, insurance advisors to national labor organizations and technical systems consultants to several major insurance companies. John wrote the book and screenplay, Genesis Executive Order Number One, now titled Genesis Revisited, two years ago. His hope is that the film will initiate a dialogue, not only among the leaders of the most powerful countries of the world, all of which possess the nuclear arsenals capable of destroying planet earth and everyone in it, but initiating a dialogue among all the members of the species we call the human race. This is John’s message: “We don’t have a choice. The time is now to eliminate nuclear weapons!” It has been 78 years since the bombing of Hiroshima, which is where Genesis Revisited begins. There have been several close calls since then. As any mathematician will attest, the odds of an Armageddon-scale catastrophe is increasing daily. The global community must respond and not leave our future to the vagaries of fate and politics.
